A lovely hike to the idyllic farms in La Val in order to discover the ladin tradition.      

*By car

• Coming from Innsbruck: take the A13 and the A22 toll motorway and exit at Bressanone/Brixen, following the signs to Brunico/Bruneck along the Val Pusteria/Pustertal road as far as San Lorenzo/St. Lorenzen. Follow the signs to Val Badia/Gadertal 
• Coming from Verona-Bolzano: take the A22, exit at Bressanone/Brixen and continue as above

Starting from the church of La Val you go up the road in the direction of Cians. From this group of houses there is a flat path passing through the meadows, which leads to the little church of Santa Barbara. The path on the left continues to Ciablun, Runch and Biei. From here the path descends to the starting point.
