Hike along the Collepietra Alpine Ridgeway (Steinegger Höhenweg)

Beautiful circular route with views of Rosengarten and Schlern. 

Take highwa's exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn left direction Prato all'Isarco and than Collepietra/Steinegg. (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).

Parking above the tavern "Wieslhof".

The route begins in Collepietra/Steinegg at the car park above the Wieslhof tavern (1,255 m). Follow the ‘yellow shoe’ markers and continue on trail [5] to the Kaserer Bild chapel (1,278 m). Head from here to the farm Lerchhof. Then follow trail [5] (1,310 m) to the Oberölgart snack stop (1,201 m). Follow forest road [6] with the ‘yellow shoe’ markers and then trail [3] back to the Wieslhof tavern.
