Hike around the Village of Collepietra/Steinegg

This circular hike will familiarise you with the wonderful village of Collepietra. 

Take highwa's exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn left direction Prato all'Isarco and than Collepietra/Steinegg. (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).

With the public bus line 182; bus stop: Collepietra/Steinegg village; online bus timetables: www.suedtirolmobil.info/en/

Parking in the centre of the village in front of the Cafè Christl or in the Via Weinberg.

The route begins in the village square (820 m). Take trail [2] to the Ölkreuz cross and continue to the Kummer Hof farm (950 m). Then follow trail [2A] to the Viglatscher Hof farm and carry on until you reach the Dosserkreuz cross (970 m). Follow trail [2] to the Katzenbachschlucht gorge. Return to Collepietra on trail [2].
