Summer hike from Baita Gardonè into the dragon forest

The hike, starting from Baita Gardonè, will lead you into the mystical dragon forest.

Take highway´s exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the right and continue to Passo Lavazè/Lavazè Pass. Then follow the sign in the direction of Cavalese and finally Predazzo. From there you can take the cableway, which will bring you up into the mountains and directly to the Baita Gardonè.
