Winter hike to the Lago di Carezza lake

Easy circular hike for the whole family to the legendary Carezza Lake in winter dress.

Take highway's exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d'Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the left in direction to Nova Levante and continue until parking Paolina in Carezza (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).

Start at the Paolina car park. From there, take trail [6] over the suspension bridge to Lake Carezza. After the lake circuit, continue on trail [12] to the Grand Hotel Carezza. From there you return to the starting point on trail [6].
