This great, varied excursion from Carezza to Passo Nigra Mountain requests experience and fitness condition. On the Malga Frommer you have a fantastic panorama view; then goes to the forest to Passo Nigra.
On the way are the following restaurants and huts: Malga Frommer and Hotel Rechenmacher's Rosengarten.

 

Take highway's exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the left and continue to Nova Levante until the parking at the cable car (about 20 min. from highway toll booth).

With the public bus line 180 or 184; bus stop: Centre of Nova Levante; online bus timetables: www.suedtirolmobil.info/en/

Starting point is the parking lot by the cable car Nova Levante-Laurino I. Ascent with the cable car to malga Frommer; on path [1A] the path goes to the Passo Nigra, where you can see the heart of the Rosengarten well. On the path Valle Nigra goes back to Nova Levante.
