Winter hike along the "Templweg"

An interessting tour from the famous Lago di Carezza (lake) trough the forest.

Take highway´s exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the left in direction to Nova Levante and continue until the Lake Carezza (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).

After you have paid at the pay machine, you have 15 minutes to leave the parking lot.

Starting from Lago di Carezza (lake) (1,549 m), this winter hike leads via the Templweg trail [8] through the Karerwald forest until the Bewallerhof hotel. From here continue on path [9] to Obereggen. Return on the same path.
