 This easy route to the Wölfl hut leads young and old across densely wooded landscapes and meadows.

Take highway´s exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the right and continue to Nova Ponente (about 30 min. from highway toll booth). In the centre of Nova Ponente there is free parking directly at Piazza Gibitz, where the hike starts.

The route starts at the Gibitz square and leads first via the European long distance path [E5] to the Gatterer farm and then to the Wölfl hut. To go back take the same path.
