Family hiking tour from the Moseralm to the Malga Heinzen Alm

This leisurely family hike leads across the alpine meadows "Frin" from where you can enjoy a 360 degree mountain backdrop.
The Heinzen Alm hut with its great children's playground, animals, sunbathing lawn and traditional, homemade dishes invites young and old to linger.

Take highway's exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the left and continue to Nova Levante, continue until the Lake Carezza. After 800m turn left at the crossroads and continue for 2 km to the Moseralm (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).

With the public bus line 180 or 184; stop Lake Carezza (continue on foot to the Moseralm via the car park, the suspension bridge and path [6] and [16]); online bus timetables: www.suedtirolmobil.info/en/

After you have paid at the pay machine, you have 15 minutes to leave the parking lot.

Starting at the Hotel Moseralm path [16] leads to the Heinzen Alm where you have to possibility to stop. From Heinzen Alm you move along the path [16] to the Niger road past the Tscheiner Hütte to the Ochsenhütte and then above the road on route [1A]. From the parking Kaiserstein path [9] leads back to the Hotel Moseralm.
