SAN VIGILIO › RIT (H: 5.5 hours) From Hotel Les Alpes, follow the agricultural road past Sarjëi to the Piccolino Pass. Then take a left onto the forest path (no. 15) and continue until you get to the Rit meadows. The route back runs along steep pastures and forests (trail no. 13) all the way to Ciamaor and on to San Vigilio.
By express highway Rosenheim-Kufstein-Innsbruck-Brenner up to exit "Brixen", where you continue toward the Pustertal (Val Pusteria). After about 20 km on the Pustertal na-tional road, always heading toward Bruneck, you turn off to your right just before St. Lorenzen, into the Gadertal, heading towards Alta Badia. The SS244 carries you up to San Vigilio.
