Managed alpine rest-stop on a meadow surrounded by forest. An easy snowshoe hike through woods and meadows.

Take highway's exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the right and continue to Obereggen (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).

Starting from the upper parking lot in Obereggen, proceed along the trail [9, 21A] until you come to the Bewallerhof. Then take the left trail [S-Samweg] until you come to the Häusler Sam
