Take highway´s exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the right and continue to Nova Ponente (30 minutes from the Bozen Nord/Eggental autobahn exit). At the roundabout in Nova Ponente, take the third exit towards Monte S. Pietro. After 6 km, turn left and follow the street to Maria Weissenstein.

From Maria Weissenstein the forest trail [2] leads you directly to the Petersberger Leger hut, which invites any gourmet of vegetarian and vegan food.
