Seiser Alm

Access to Sella Ronda

Strenuous

15,75 km 287 m max 1871 m

Passing by the impressive Langkofel group, this largely downhill route connects the Seiser Alm with Wolkenstein. Here begins the impressive Sella Ronda, also recommended for skilled riders with a guide.

Starting from Compatsch on the Seiser Alm, it is also possible to reach the neighboring Gröden Valley to the starting point of the Sella Ronda. Here, you first follow the main road to Saltria and then take the forest road towards Monte Pana. Partly through natural trails, you reach the endpoint of this connection and the Ciampinoi valley station. From here, it is possible to directly enter the Sella Ronda counterclockwise. If you want to take the route clockwise, you just have to tackle a small climb to the Dantercepies valley station. Please pay attention to the opening times of the lifts.
