The medium-distance route is not too long, but quite challenging and takes you along the Moosbühel through the picturesque forests north of Kastelruth. The terrain varies between gravel roads, asphalt, and forest trails.

The starting point of this route is in the heart of Kastelruth and leads through the Plieger Hof to the Dosser Weiher. From there, it continues through the farm Freudenegg and Radl Moos back to the starting point of the Bühlen-Runde in the village center of Kastelruth.
