Paul Tergat running track

Difficult

5h 29min 18,21 km 745 m max 2130 m

The trail is very long and challenging as it goes through gravel and mountain paths. It spans across the entire southern part of Seiser Alm and offers unique views of gentle Alpine meadows and rugged mountain landscapes.

The road to the Seiser Alm nature reserve is closed to private vehicles from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. During this time, you can either access the Seiser Alm via the Seiser Alm cable car from Seis or take the bus from Kastelruth. You can leave the Seiser Alm by car at any time.

The trail starts at the mountain station of the Panorama chairlift and goes through Goldknopf, Almrosenhütte, and Mahlknechthütte to the Dialer Chapel. From there, it goes eastwards to Stampfeter Schwaige, then downhill to Saltria, and through the Spiegelwald via Lanziner Schwaige back to the starting point.
