Winter hike: From Sexten/Sesto at Innichen/San Candido

Easy

First through Sesto, then along forest and meadow paths to the neighbouring village of San Candido. On the way there or back you can easily take the bus no. 446.

Tips and advices: very little difference of altitude and no special efforts, a comfortable forest way. Pass the cemetery  and also the Stifts Church in San Candido.
Summary: a very nice and calm excursion with the possibility to mix culture and shopping at San Candido.

From Sexten/Sesto at Innichen/San Candido Winter

From Sesto passing the church of Sesto (visit the wonderful cemetery of Sesto). We take a left and follow the Lanerweg which becomes the path nr. 5 to San Candido. We cross fields, pass some farms and reach the wood. Continuing on the path nr. 5 we reach San Candido from where we take the bus (schedule at the reception) to come back to Sexten/Sesto. At San Candido it is absolutely worth visiting the church.
