Spitzbühl loop route

The easy Spitzbühl circuit starts from Compatsch and leads to the summit of Spitzbühel, at the far end of the Seiser Alm, offering a breathtaking panorama of the Dolomite peaks and the valley with Seis am Schlern. There are few other circular routes where you can get closer to the famous Schlern mountain!

After briefly following the state road towards Seis, turn left at the parking lot just before the top station of the cable car, and follow the uphill path to the right of the lift. Along the way, there are several opportunities to stop for a break before turning left after about 7 km and returning to the starting point. Along the main road, you can once again enjoy a beautiful view of Europe's largest high-altitude plateau.
