Winter hike from Kastelruth to St. Michael

The hike leads to St. Michael, a city with a church of the same name that dates back to the 13th century, thus belonging to the Romanesque period.

Follow the Bühlweg to the right of the church, marked with the number 10, which initially leads down to the Tisenser Bach. Cross the creek at Föstlhof and then turn right. You will pass Lafayhof and Fegerhof and reach Bremicher Platzl shortly after. From here, head briefly in a southerly direction to Café Sabina. Turn left here and follow path number 10 until you reach the Hotel Alpine Boutique Villa Gabriela. Turn right there and continue until you reach the Hotel Baumwirt. From there, take the sidewalk to the left of the hotel until you reach St. Michael's Church. You can return using Bus No. 172.
