Winter hike from Seis to Völs

An enjoyable hike without significant changes in elevation leads from Seis through St. Konstantin and St. Anton to Völs.

To start the hike, take bus line 170 from Kastelruth or Völs am Schlern to the starting point in the center of Seis am Schlern. If you are arriving by car, there is also an underground parking garage available.

Begin at the roundabout in the center of Seis am Schlern. Follow the main road towards Völs, passing the Seiser Alm Railway, until you reach the entrance of the artisan area. Cross the road here and turn right onto hiking trail number 11. The trail will take you through the forest and across snowy meadows. You will pass St. Konstantin Church and enter the artisan area of St. Anton. Continue to follow hiking trail number 11 and eventually you will reach Völs am Schlern. You can return to Seis by bus number 170.

 

(It is also recommended to do the hike in the opposite direction, starting in Völs.)
