Winter hike to Mont Seuc

This hike provides a stunning panoramic view of the Langkofel and Plattkofel mountains. Along the way, you'll traverse vast alpine meadows covered in a pristine layer of snow.

The hike starts in Compatsch and leads from there towards Saltria until you reach the junction to Hotel Icaro. From there, it goes uphill to the Mont Seuc mountain station, from where you can descend into the Val Gardena. The trail then continues downhill over vast alpine meadows and leads to the impressive Sanon Hut, which offers a magnificent view of the Langkofel and Plattkofel mountains. On the way back, you pass by Hotel Ritsch. From there, the hike leads up a gentle slope to the Tuene Hut and the Gostner Schwaige, and then past Hotel Steger-Dellai back to Compatsch.

 

For a shorter hike, you can also walk only to the Sanon Hut and back (Duration: 2:00 h).
