Winter hike to Tuff Alm and Hofer Alpl

A beautiful winter hike takes you from Völser Weiher through the snowy forest up to Tuff Alm and further to Hofer Alpl. This trail is both a winter hiking path and a toboggan run, allowing for a sledding descent. If you wish, you can also lace up your ice skates at Völser Weiher and do a few rounds.

By foot to the lake of Völs or by car to the car park in front of the lake of Völs.

Follow the marked paths with the designation 1 or 1B. Pass by Huber Weiher and ascend through the forest in long switchbacks until the view of the snowy alpine meadows and the surrounding mountains opens up at Tuff Alm. It is possible to continue the hike to Hofer Alpl. The path to Tuff Alm is both a winter hiking trail and a toboggan run, making it suitable for sledding. If you wish, you can also lace up your ice skates at Völser Weiher and take a few rounds.
