Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza is a high plateau on 2.000 m in the middle of the Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Prags/Braies. There are different huts with refreshments.

From Toblach in southern direction and further on to the Gemärk Pass/Passo Cimabanche.
The summer hiking tour starts from the pass Gemärk/Cimabanche. The path no. 18 takes through the wood and the montain pain till the end of the Knappenfußtal/Valle dei Cenopi valley. There you can see a small waterfall. At the right side, in serpentine, the path continues uphill to the Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza.
